Photograph of Mary Hope as a young woman. Mary Hope was the daughter of Thomas Hope and Mary Barrett. She was born ca.1835 in County Mayo, Ireland, married Patrick Healy and emigrated with him and four of their children to the United States in 1867. She died in 1898 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
