Pauline was the daughter of Pablo Graupera and Marguerite Jardelat and the wife of Celestino Gonzalez of Pensacola, son of Manuel Gonzalez and Marie Louise Bonifay. The obituary appeared in The Daily News in Pensacola, Monday, 30 March, 1896, on page 2 of the afternoon edition of the paper. Althought the obituary says that her death resulted from a fall a few weeks earlier, her death certificate gives the immediate cause of death as senility.
