Lucy Swainson Miller, center, was the wife of William Charles Miller, a Liverpool shipbroker, and mother of Henry, right, her fourth child. Henry worked in the tea industry in India as head of the Jorehaut Tea Company in Assam. Henry and his wife, Frances Margaret Adams, had four children. Henry Francis Swainson Miller was their second child and oldest son. This three-generation picture was taken July 1919. Henry Francis Swainson, Lucy's grandson, died in 1924; Lucy died a year later, in 1925; and Henry died in 1927. Henry Francis Swainson Miller's only brother, Charles Scovell Miller, moved to Canada and married Marybell Weekes.
