George Othman Brosnahan, like his father and brother, was a physician. He served as a surgeon in the Confederacy. While serving in Alabama, he met Cynthia McKee Gingles. They married after the war. George was named after his father's brother. George and Cynthia are buried in St. Michael's Cemetery, Pensacola.
