Genevieve Anna Brent was the tenth child of Francis C. Brent and Mary Ella Shuttleworth, born July 26. She married William O'Hara Turtle, known as Billy, on 5 February 1916 in Chicago. She outlived her husband by several years, dying on Valentine's Day in 1974. She is buried in St. Michael's Cemetery.

Mrs. James B. Watson was her daughter Mary Brent "Mollie" Turtle. Mrs. William G. Allenbach was her daughter Emily Turtle. Mrs. Rufus Manley was her sister Celestine and Mrs. Harold Fick was her sister Frances.
