Wedding announcement of Catherine Brent and James Watson, 1903






James C. Campbell and Catherine Merced Brent were married in the parlor at the home of her parents, 108 East Romana in Pensacola. The ceremony began at 8:00 p.m. The best man was Mr. W.A. Blount Jr. Sisters Celestine, Mollie and Frances Brent were among the bridesmaids and Belle Brent was the maid of honor. The bride came in on the arm of her father, F.C. Brent. Also in attendance were Mrs. F.C. Brent, mother of the bride, Mrs. T.C. Watson, mother of the groom, and Mrs. Merced Brent, grandmother of the bride; sisters Cora and Genevieve Brent; Daniel Gonzalez Brent, uncle of the bride, and brothers T.W., F.C. Jr., George, Robbie and Willie.The bride and groom left on the late train for New York.
