Adalula Adilen Whitted, 1869-1943, known to the family as Lula, and Charles F. Adams, 1870-1953, were buried in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. Lula was the seventh child of Enoch and Eliza Hise Whitted of Clinton, Indiana. Lula and Charles were married in Vermillion County, Indiana, but moved by 1920 down to Vigo County, settling in Fayette. Charles was a merchant in the retail grocery business and he and Lula had two children, Mary L. and Charles A.
