Gravestone of Patrick Francis Healy
1857-1945

Patrick Francis Healy was the second child of Patrick M. Healy and Mary Hope of County Mayo, Ireland. Born 3 February 1857, according to the parish registers and his death certificate - not 1856 as the gravestone indicates, he left with his parents in 1866, sailing on the SS England from Queenstown, Ireland, to New York City. The family settled in Minnesota. Patrick worked for various railroad companies, eventually settling in Chicao. Patrick married Margaret "Maggie" Gallagher in 1885 and they had six children. Maggie died in 1934 and Patrick died on 3 September 1945 in Chicago. They are buried in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
