Copy of the christening record for John Tomlinson, son of Randal Tomlison, 18 January 1759 in St. Peter's Church, Plemstall, Cheshire, England. According to records handed down in the family, his mother was Ann Bagnell, but this is unverified. Plemstall is northeast of the city of Chester. John, became a surgeon in Chester and married Dorothy Spurstow of Chester in 1786. He died in 1808 in Chester.
