Copy of the christening record for Elizabeth Tomlinson, daughter of Dr. John Tomlinson and Dorothy Spurstow, 25 November 1794, Chester, Cheshire, England. Elizabeth was the fifth of nine children born to John and Elizabeth. She married her cousin, Joseph Dundas Miller, in 1821 in Neston, Cheshire, England. Her mother had moved to Parkgate, Cheshire, very near to Neston, and she was living with her at the time of her marriage. Her father had died in 1808.
