Francis Celestino Brent and Mary Ella Shuttleworth were granted a license on the 8th of July 1872 in Escambia County, Florida, and were married the next day by J.A. Bergrath, Pastor, Pensacola.

Francis Celestino, 1848-1914, known as F.C., was the son of Thomas William Brent and Merced Gonzalez. Mary Ella Shuttleworth, 1852-1905, was the daughter of Col. William Louis Shuttleworth and Amanda Brosnaham. Their marriage record can be found in Vol. H, p.7, of the Escambia County Marriage Records.
